Who is this guide for?
If you’ve taken a job at Alliance, this guide shows the new buildings within a short drive and what the commute adds to the price. It’s one of our new apartments near work employer guides, which we publish only when 5 or more board buildings sit within 20 minutes free-flow. Alliance clears that easily.
This is about the employer commute, not the area itself. For the area’s ISDs, counties, and electric setup, see our North Fort Worth new apartments page.
Which employers anchor Alliance?
AllianceTexas is a large logistics and manufacturing hub on the north side of Fort Worth. Here are the employer figures we use, with the source:
| Employer | Jobs |
|---|---|
| Celestica | 1,715 by 2029 |
| MTU | 1,200 or more |
| Foxlink | About 900 |
| Wistron | 800 or more |
Many of these jobs run on shifts, so drive time at the hour you’d actually leave matters more than a midday estimate.
Where are the new buildings near Alliance?
North Fort Worth, Alliance, and Saginaw held 20 of our 73 tracked communities on Oct 25, 2026, the densest new-build area on the board. Buildings cluster around Alliance Town Center, Presidio Junction, and Heritage Trace near I-35W and SH 170, with more in Saginaw, Haslet, and out toward Bonds Ranch. If your route uses the I-35W TEXpress lanes, our guide on toll costs on your commute shows how to add that line.
What routes do commutes use?
Two roads carry most Alliance commutes:
- I-35W runs north and south through the area. Its TEXpress managed lanes use dynamic pricing, so a commute that uses them has a toll that changes by time of day.
- SH 170 runs east from I-35W toward Alliance Town Center and SH 114.
From buildings west of I-35W, like Saginaw and Haslet, you’ll usually cross the interstate. From buildings east of it, SH 170 is often the short way in. We time each route at your shift start and price any managed-lane use as a line item.
Drive time at your hour
Free-flow times are a starting point. We recheck the drive at your actual start, because a 6 AM shift and an 8 AM shift are different trips.
What else should you check near Alliance?
The address setup varies more here than anywhere else on our board. Six ISDs cover the area, and some Fort Worth addresses sit in Denton County, like The Palo and Holloway Champions Circle. Electric is Oncor at most addresses, but four are dual-certified and still being confirmed. We confirm each building’s setup before you tour. We’ll help you set it up before move-in.
Specials run deep too. North Fort Worth’s typical special was 8.3 weeks on our Oct 25, 2026 pull. Deep specials mean a bigger year-two jump, so we show year two beside every one.
What to ask about an Alliance-area building
Beyond price, these questions matter most for an Alliance commute:
- Which side of I-35W is the building on, and how do I reach SH 170 from it?
- Does the fastest route use the I-35W TEXpress lanes at my shift time?
- Which ISD and county is this exact address in?
- Who provides electric here, and is the address one of the dual-certified ones?
- Is the building in lease-up, and what’s finished?
| Building location | What to check first |
|---|---|
| East of I-35W near Alliance Town Center | Drive via SH 170, amenity completion |
| West of I-35W in Saginaw or Haslet | Crossing time at your shift, ISD |
| Farther north toward Bonds Ranch | Electric meter setup, longer drive |
We answer all five for each building on your list before you tour.
